Hehe, its way to early for shopping spree.

I remembered we got our stuffs for primary 1 in Dec.
School bag - wait till u see the sizes and number of books before getting it. There is a school cabinet for the girls to store their books, arts & crafts, files in their classroom. This lightens their bag load.

Uniform and pe attire - the gals need to wear pe attire twice a week, so it's better to get 2 sets. School jacket - I find this useful during raining season.

School shoes - black ( think just go economical ones since the gals need to take off the shoes for some lessons. )

Bear in mind that being primary 1, they tend to be careless and lost their things often. These are the things I can remember off my heads now. Hope it helps.
Thanks so much for the advice!

we were keen to register for KCPPS to save the effort.. But unfortunately we are out of the 2km perimeter for the ballot.. Was considering MCS and Teck Ghee.. after the visit, we decided that MCS fits our little girl better.. so MCS it is 🙂

I do prefer single sexed schools.. was looking at coed for the sake of my son.. oh well, since we have already decided.. better make the best of it and figure out which sch for ds asap...[/quote]

Yup, I think KCPPS is balloting for >2km this year, so its quite risky... My friend was saying that all girls' school would be more disciplined and orderly, compared to a mixed school cos boys always make more noise :rotflmao:

I am so not looking forward to them growing up so quickly  so miss the time when they were babies nursing in our arms............

Yeah, I saw the kids that day, the bags like backbreaking super huge! Memories when we were teens - refused to bring textbooks as heavy, and borrow the books from other classes before each lessons! I guess shouldn't teach our daughters such things so young! 😄

mummy meow, then you still have the option of KCPPS for your ds if you change your mind about doing PV… so no need to stress over it…

mummy meow, it is especially hard seeing the youngest one grow up, because he is the last of the babies... wish time would stay still...
