Thanks michyms,
Welcome Gin.michyms:
Hi all!
Please add me in to the list of parents whose girls will be entering P1 next year :).
Tks!
I cannot help but smile when I see some of the parents on this forum talking about aging :). I have a daughter who is going to be 22 this year and now my 2nd daughter is going to Primary 1 in 2012 :rotflmao: ! And yes, from both daughters are from the same father :)! :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao: (Someone asked once asked me if they are from the same father!) :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao:
Yes, children do grow up very, very fast :).
Hi Gin,
Wow....22 year old DD. So do you two look like sisters when you're together??
There's a MCS mother with an 18 year old DD...When they come to sch together, they really look like sisters and they even share clothes etc. How I wish I can do that with DD when she's older but I doubt that'll ever happen....mummy is horizontally challenged...haha -
Hi michyms, cantbearit2 and Tinkerbelle,
I was in my twenties when I had our DD1 and in my fourties when I had our DD2 :). One born in the 20th century and the other in the 21st century :)! I love going out with our girls. People get quite confused as the girls do not look one bit like me :). Have more of their father's genes. :). I look Asian while they both look very European. So wherever we go, most people will not know that we are related. We all laugh about it:). LOL! -

Hello funky monkey, what happened to your dd3? what is HSP? Has she recovered?

cantbearit2:
Thanks for the explanation! Now I understand!
Hi michyms,michyms:
Thanks for the clarification. I guess my friend was from ACS Independent, which explained why he could not register his ds for ACS as an old boy.
If my memory did not fail me, actually only full sch (eg. Cat high, St. nicks) allows such arrangement. Meaning if parents were nv in e PRI section but was fr their SEC section, ey can register their kids in e PRI section.
Most affiliated sch r not full sch. If parents r fr PRI section, kids can register in PRI section. However if parents r fr SEC section, kids cannot b register in PRI section.
Therefore 'affiliation' does not equate 'full sch'. Affiliation only means better
chance for PRI to SEC, SEC to JC (upwards not downwards) since cut-off
pts r lower in e case of PRI to SEC & bonus pts in e case for SEC to JC.
Since ACS independent (sec section) is not a full sch, yur fren will not b
able to register his DS in ACS PRI (PRI section) or ACS junior (PRI section).p
Hope my explanation is clear.
