just called up St Nick.
Officer said that they are going to send out the final, last batch of email notification this evening (today), to short-listed candidates, for both (Academic + Leadership) applicants, to attend Performance Tasks (selection tests) and interview.
If you still do not receive any news by end of today (Wednesday, 3 July 2019), Sorry, you have not been short-listed

Anyone able to share your DD/DS experience for SOTA Creative finalist workshop? Thanks.
Congratulations on being one of the 70+ of over 1500 entries!
In the workshop my kid attended, they were taught some techniques and also given some essays to read, discuss and tasks to complete. As these are likely graded, it is best to let the kids go without any fixed mindset of what to expect. Just remind them to have fun and exercise their creativity. My kid was awed and inspired by the creativity of some of the entries he got to (exchange to) read from the few kids he befriended during the workshop.
The school also briefly introduced to the kids their Literary Arts programme. So it is a good time to find out if you and your kid is keen in this school as it is 100% dsa.
All the best! -

RE: All about Transferring to Other Primary Schools
xuanfam:
Hi we are shifting next year and hence put in requests to a few schools for transfer. We hope for an afflitated school. The first to call us up is Marymount convent. . While we heard many good feedback about the school and happy to receive a call, we are wondering if we should wait for Chij st nicks etc. Any comments? Anyone transferred to Marymount and can share your experiences as a new kid/parent in the school? Tx
Hi, what is your kid level? Normally CHIJ St nicks transfer success rate is higher at p3. 2018 transfer successful applications were invited for Orientation last Sat. Are you able to wait for another year? Handful MCS parents will try to transfer MCS girls out at end of P2 to CHIJ St nicks or TP. -

No ballotting at Phase 2C for girls schoo, so no choice but to go for it lor. With the school newly renovated, facilities and space wise are definetly better than 2 years ago. In terms of academic, P1 and P2 managable. P3 onwards if girls are in top 2 classes, the teachers assigned to these classes are academic driven and will push the sudents, more homework and extra worksheets. If in mixed abilities, very much depend on luck, whether teachers assigned are willing to go extra miles to help weaker students!!I just went to check out on the school environment
There's no open house
May I know what do you like about this school? -

RE: Eczema problems, Allergy & Rashes...Solutions...
Are these creams available at Watson and Guardian for purchase? Or have to purchase from Doctor?
The Math Classroom:
I have been diagnosed with eczema since young but the good thing is although im still having it now, its not as severe as last time.I have been visiting the same family doctor (Focus Medical) since young and they recommended me two different creams depending on the severity when visiting them (its best to visit them and know the types of creams that are suitable and things to avoid).
I have been using Diprocel ointment ($8/10g) and Combiderm cream ($10/15g tube). These have been very effective for a long time and help to prevent itchiness and red scars. Red scars can even be gone the next day after application! Its that good!
