Hi all, my dd is now P2 and I remember vaguely that the P1 orientation program lasts the whole of first week. Parents are able to see their dd in school tuckshop during recess time but not allowed to buy food for them. I think it’s good to be there on Day 1 but other days should let dd try out on her own. There’s also P5 girls who will be their assigned buddies to let them be accustomed to the school rules, tuckshop, and various places like bookshop, library etc. My dd also has her locker shared with her few other friends to store their school textbooks, ex books and also colour pencils (48 pcs). Hope this helps.

Thanks. I believe Tinkerbell from this thread has updated the results too. Think it's page 375. Thanks anyway!

Is the locker in their classroom? How many girls share a locker?

Yes, lockers are in the classroom. I must say they are more cabinet like than locker. But teacher locks it at end of day. Usually it's 4-6 girls per cabinet. It worked well for my dd. Have fun!

I’m going to start a parent support group for our rhythmic gym girls. Anyone keen? Also is there one existing in our blog? I recall for last year there were the usual suspect like St Nick, CHIJ where the supporters scream their lungs out and waving madly for their gym girls in the April interschool competition at woodlands. They were clad in t-shirts bearing school logo and loud prints with Daddy Gym or Mommy Gym. I thought we should start this for our girls too and be supportive of them. My dd is in school team and should be doing the ball and rope this time round.

                      Amy suggestion?
