Hi Gorilla, thanks. I didn’t receive letter regarding the briefing. is it on 3 Feb? I’ll check with teacher regarding the letter… Still have not received the helpmate, thought it should be ready in week 2

Yes it's on 3 Feb, 09:30-11:30am. Yep still no helpmate but what the teacher does is give the girls this pinkish paper (think similar to helpmate) with the dates for them to jot down homework etc. Do u have that? Also DD has this clear folder (was told to bring on 1st week) that keeps all the the homework/worksheet/letters etc.

Hubby said sch to blame if helpmate not ready cos need to give sufficient time for printers to print

Just came back from MCS to ensure my dd took her lunch and has sufficient time to eat. Didn’t know parents aren’t allow in the canteen area, was asked to leave twice.

Yes, she is supposed to finish most part of the 好朋友-小一 . My gal didn't do it and there is a teacher stamp - 工课未完成 on the pages to be done.

Yep parents are not allowed in the sch compound. Sent my daughter to sch in the 1st week after she came back from MC. She wanted to go to the toilet but I was not allowed to accompany her. Luckily there was a P2 girl and the office lady asked her to go with my DD.


What time did the Art class end? Enough time for your DD to eat?

It ends at 12:00pm. There is barely enough time for her to buy and finish her food and not to mention toilet or chitchat with her friends. Noticed most of the gals don't eat proper lunch, they just snack around. I am kind of worried she will probably follow her friends if I am not there.

I dont think the school wasn't so strict last year on prohibiting parents in the canteen. Hope they can reconsider the restriction.

LLXo4, only 15 mins! Might be better for u to pack lunch for her, at least she’ll have proper food. She can snack during recess.


It’s only this year that they’re super strict?? Hmm… wonder why.

I find the sch security kinda lax, cars are allowed to enter without car park label and during dismissal time, the girls can potentially be picked up by stranger!

LLX, so all CCAs end at 12pm? I have no idea what the school is thinking. We should feedback to the office. How can the girls possibly have lunch at all even if the lunch is packed, unless they gobble it down in 5 minutes flat (bad for digestion!)
