hi… is the pcps creative toy competition a must for every child to create a toy? my gal is in P1 and when she first told me, i ask her if it is a must, she told me nope. but now, she say her FT ask them to submit 1 each??

We don’t intend to do… No idea at all
-
Hi,
I do not think it is compulsory but highly recommended to take part.
For me, I have no creative ideas on the toy and leaving it entirely to my gal is not fair since she is so young in P1. I need to give her some ideas and work together with her. But till now, I am guilty of not doing that.
And now that she sees many people are all the hype on this toy competition, she wants to take part too. So I may be improvising the toy from some art and craft I did with her in the past.
I feel it's more on the sense of participation and process of thinking through what toy to make that is more fruitful for my gal. Since she wants to take part, I shall help her on that

Hi simplemum, I share the same thoughts as you and have not started on the project yet. Furthermore, was busy with their MA recently. I want to start sourcing for info and do it this weekend. But, have not started yet… Btw, just curious which class is yr child in?

We also do not intend to do, as my daughter and us do not have any ideas or interested in it. So far i have not heard from her on any pressure to do it.
