Hi vbcouple, I heard the same thing from my son's FT about prefect role. Since he is taking on the flag duties now, I hope he will eventually be one. I feel that this is a good role for exposure..

Irene06, my son having English classes at TLL. As for chinese, we continue our berries classes which we have enrolled him in his kindy days. But feel that exposure is not enough... Still sourcing for good Chinese class. Do you guys have any recommendation?

MummyTang, the art programme seems fun and good. My son likes Art, so he may like this programme too.
        Hi Minmin27

How old is your son now? Does the English class at TLL benefit him ? My son does not have any tuition and am scouting around. He will be in P3 next year. Tks.

My girl has been with TLL since K2. She is going to P3 next year...

Language is really something that needs time to improve... my girl is showing results only in P2... and it's not tremendous improvements or what but I can see that she is grasping the language... TLL materials are good and current. They are also relatively expensive.

Tried calling the school to ask but the person who anwered my call said he didn't know...

Anyway, got a call from the school who told me that they are not going to reveal this piece of information to parents now. They are doing so in-line with MOE's direction. Period. :stompfeet:

My DD heard from her VB seniors that highest for PCPS is 274. Her senior gets 269. That’s good balance between sports and studies!

Ha ha that means that the Honour Roll (in front of the GO) with the top student's name for each year will cease to exist wef 2012. I tried asking my son's form teacher for the highest % for the P2 cohort, answer is that the school will not disclose. Honestly, not disclosing the top scorers' names and highest scores does not alleviate any stress. I feel that the ministry is behaving like an ostrich!
