Quick Qns:
I would like to ask,
1) is it confirmed that PCPS will be moving to single session in 2016? It’s mandatory to be single session right?
2) Where will be PCPS’s temporary location?
3) How long will PCPS be in its temporary location?

I think I could answer some of your questions.

You are correct! It is mandatory for all Singapore Schools (government funded) to be Single Session. The PERI REVIEW committee recommends the Single Session to be implemented by 2018.

I am unable to answer question 1.

The temporary location might be in the AMK / YCK area. It is not confirmed though. There are a lot of questions raised as to why a temporary holding site near TP area ,big enough for PCPS, is not used.

I believe that the Government has considerations, eg economical, for land usage.

All PERI upgrading program are tenured to be 2 years, the last I read.

And the last I heard PCPS will move at the end of 2016. PCPS will be at the holding site by 2017!

Yes Pcps requires P6 students to go back to school during June holi for extra classes. So pls dont sign up for external holi programmes first till you see school schedule.

My daughter is in P1 this year. The morning time, we need send her to a student care in Bishan, but the student care centre told me, as there are not enough students for the morning session, they want to close the morning student care class. Does anyone has recommendation of morning time student care around Bishan Toa Payoh area?
