Hi all ... a silly question but do you let your DD wear shorts under the skirt ? DD hates wearing shorts under so she doesn’t but she has been coming home recently telling me that the white skirt is too translucent and ppl can see through the skirt :yikes: I checked yesterday and it’s really very obvious, even with light colors ! Wat should I do if she is really against shorts ??

May I check with parents whose children got into second round of the GEP selection but did not get selected for GEP, does the school offer any talent development programme for them?

Hi, there are too many students who got into 2nd round and school can’t possibly open 2 more classes for these students. Furthermore, the direction from MOE is to remove the class ranking.

Over the years, the observation is the top 10 students remain the top, although some changes in the ranking. P5 overall % is well above 95%. Impressive and consistent performance! Even without “special treatment”, it is almost guaranteed that they will do extremely well in PSLE. PSLE score in high 260 to above 280 range is a norm.

There are also others who did not get into round 2 but progress along the way whereas some who got into round 2 due to early preparation (what were tested in round 1 are mainly syllabus work, nothing much out of the box) but performance dropped in P5-P6. It all depends.

Hi, can someone share how did our P6sers perform for PSLE? From my small group of friends, the children did not do well. The scores were quite shocking and much lower than expected. I did not ask for more details as parents and children are already quite disappointed.

With all the drastic changes made under the new leadership, the year cohort gets impacted the most. My feeling tells me the change is not a positive one but I can’t be sure. Up next will be my DD1’s batch who will be taking PSLE next year. Knowing how this year cohort perform provides an indication of what to expect next year and for parents to step up too.

I read from the FB alumni page that the Principal Mr Lim informed that the P6 students have done well this year! Most subjects are above national average and all have made it to secondary schools. Any parents care to share if this is true?
