table tennis already removed from CCA? Anyone know why?

according to the school circular that was sent to P2 students before school ended, table tennis is still featured as a CCA under Sports.

maybe it means, P4 cannot select table tennis and wushu as CCA anymore if kids didn't select it during P3.

My gal wants to choose wushu and brownie as CCA, school letter says school approval required for > 1 CCA. Has anyone tried appealing for >1 CCA before and has it been approved?

Hi parents, need some advice here. My boy is going into P1 in 2015. Heard that will need to start PV next year. But would like to know what are the chances of getting into Chongfu even if I do PV, cos I hope not to go through the whole episode of high hope and then disappointment. DS should hv a more or less confirmed place at Nan Hua but its too far. Appreciate your advice.

Based on prior year balloting ratio, if PV and stay < 2km, confirm can get in without balloting

Thanks for the info Imp75, but is that under phase 2B? I thought under phase 2B, was oversubcribed, and they will ballot without looking at distance?

I see, now I learnt something. Hope we will get a place. And yes kaka, the PV hours is 80 hours next yr! That is twice of the usual 40 hours rite?

I’m surprised to hear that PV has increased to 80 hours, thought the well known schools have stretched to 60 hours max. so far.

My child was selected to join Chinese Orchestra late last year when she was in P2. Back then, my hubby & I took leave to pick her up as CCA ends at 5pm on Fri and there is no school bus service at that hour. I will face the same problem next year as I think the school bus will not pick children up at 5pm. Both of us are working parents and we can’t possibly be taking leave on Fri to pick our child. We need the school bus to send my child to student care. May I know if any parents are facing this problem as well?
