just checked the CCA selection via LMS,wu shu is still in the list.

i am totally confused to carry on selection for my son.he has already taken wu shu as his CCA when P2. so am i entitled to choose other CCA or only wu shu can be selected?

tried to call Mrs Tay but she is not in office.

anybody knows and share here, thank you very much!
your kid should have priority to choose wushu as CCA. If your son want to change to other CCA, it should be fine.

        Kitty:

My girl has been with the Art Club since primary 2. For the past 3 years, it has been once a week , Friday.

        Is your information confirm ?

This is according to the posted information in Ask and Learn. There are CCAs that are marked only once a week.

BTW, the P3 time table indicates that there are selected ICT classes on Thurs. Would you know what this means? Are the classes scheduled for ICT on every thurs for different periods of the year?

If my gal takes art, it would mean practically long days in school everyday except Mondays, if ICT is also included ... ๐Ÿ˜ž

where did you find the notice? Are you using parent portal? didn't find anything in my account.

yes wushu (Tue/Thur) clash with Swimsafe, good excuse not to go for Swimsafe, esp since my gal is already taking private lessons but I heard teachers say Swimsafe is compulsory? Is that true?

I managed to seek clarification from school and this was what I have gathered.

ICT classes on Thurs is not a regular feature. It will most probably stretch over a couple or slightly more weeks over the whole year.

Swimsafer program is not compulsory if the child is already taking private swimming class.

Art club is just once a week, but the group could be split between tues and Fri because it is getting too big.

Hope the above helps for parents to make decisions on your kidsโ€™ CCAs.
