Hi parents of Chongfu, is it true that those poor pupils are selected for supplementary classes ?

      Hi parents1o2,

\"Poor pupils\" as in the results of their exam or financial?

      Cheers,

Hi! Any mummies from 1 Innovative? Did your child have a homework that requires him/her to write to a friend in America? How to do it?

            Hi parents1o2,
I have son in P1, yes those that did not get band1 would be selected for supplementary class.

I am surprised to hear that pupils not attaining Band 1 in the recent SA1 would be selected for supplementary classes? Based on the mean score that I see for the standard and doing a guestimation, approx 75% or more of the pupils require supp class? That just seems insane to me??

I am curious to know which subject is it and whether is this supp class just restricted to a particular P1 class or across the standard? I am also surprised I did not hear about this from the form teacher in the recent 1-1 session

Can parents ask ur child if there are toilet papers in the school toilets? just got to know that there are no toilet papers in the toilet. What do they do if a student needs to go toilet to pass motion?

hi, yes there are toilet papers in the toilet. They are just beside the hand washing area, if you child needs it, he/she needs to tear some before he goes inside the cubicle.

hi, my son is fr 1Caring. nothing was said on supplementary class during 1-1 session. his eng and math are in band 2, but not attending any sup.

however, i know of his classmate who is attending ‘sup’ but not on regular basis e.g. once in july, 3 sessions in aug & sept each. but not sure wat is being taught during session.

i would be more appreciative if the school gives practise paper which is similar to the level of difficulty as in SA1, rather than giving simple practise qn for daily pract and then a BIG SHOCK to parents and kid alike in exam. haiz… wat is the education system coming to?? isit school or parents pasar now??

Aiya, just wait for a few more months and back here to confirm if Innovative is indeed the best class. Only those have 12/12 good & V good during screening are in this class so you say is this the best class or it could be the best over prepared class.

How did u know all pupils in Innovative got 12/12 V Good/Good? This is interesting because I saw some perfect results in some other class too[/quote]

                      Hi Mummies,
just curious, is it been confirmed p1 inno is the best class ?
I saw 1 loy has some perfect score in the SA1.

                        hi Jenny

Did I really said that? I don’t think I said that and I do not know if Innovative has got perfect score.

Apologies if I "really said that" as that post could have been made by my hubby using my moniker (but I would be indeed surprised if my hubby knew!)

Anyway, no point dwelling about this, we should all be forward looking and results will speak for themselves at year end (when standard results are known)
