I'll probably bring some money along. But no hurry, I guess, cos there's Day 2. Also I think can buy books fr Popular and uniform fr CKC at Sembawang Shopping Centre.

my dd1 is in P1 this year, and dd2 will be going P1 next year. dd1 sat for a test last year and had officially one day of orientation. a bit different from this year, where school has informed that there are 2 days of orientation, and has not informed on any test.

we were caught on orientation day last year as books and uniform purchase services were open, but we did not bring enough cash. please note no credit card services.

i am none the wiser on what will happen tomorrow. for last year's P1 orientation, we were all invited to the hall, the children were ushered to sit in front while parents could sit at the back. there were performances on wushu and dance, and after that the children were brought to their classes while the parents remained in the hall for some briefing by the principals and teachers.

apparently the children did some group activities and coloring in class. i think the program was to familiarize them with the classroom setting. in the meantime the parents could buy textbooks and uniforms.

                      hope the above helps.
