I think someone in this thread mentioned that the pupils are grouped according to the registration phases. The worksheets done were more for sieving out children who are very weak, eg they may not even know the letters of the alphabet or numbers well, or they dun speak/ understand basic English. My DD did mention that someone in her group didn't know what to do with the worksheets so the teacher had to explain to the child what to do.

I registered under Phase 2B. I am curious to know how they allocated the classs too. Yup, we can gossips and keep each of us up to date…haha

I would also think that class allocation is by phases. I remembered my elder kid going to the same class with those kids I did PV with. Quite a couple of them. This time, my ds is registered under Phase 1. My friend's dd registered same phase as mine, going to 1 Youthful

I am curious! Did you specifically ask to split up your twins or was it assigned by the school automatically? Just curious to know how did you derive the conclusion that it is better to split the twins, if this is by choice. Appreciate your advice as I also have a pair of twins enrolling into CFS in 2013Add my two DD to the list as well!
