Hi, any parents of P1 achieving?
Hi :rahrah: my ger in p1 achieving . -
My dd in united. So far ok, a note was given by teacher to explain abbreviations used in timetable.
No files collected from them and they were not asked to bring. She brings along grammar handbook, cl textbook, storybook and stationery every day, that’s all thus manageable.
On the first day of school, a handbook for parents was given to them, right at the back, there’s a list of email addresses of the p1 teachers. -
Hi Vonk, my girl is in United too . she told me she need to complete her work in the social studies file but i did mention to her teacher that the worksheets are out of stock . no maths workbook as well

-
Hi Lolita, my girl didn’t mention about worksheets, she just brought back her activity book to complete, i have not bought the ss file for her too and she says teacher didn’t mention about it too. So i will not buy it for the time being.

It is more about the core programs and holistic assessment. Sorry can’t really recalled alot. But the holistic assessment will take up some marks too.

Slides will be uploaded in Chongfu portal.
It’s generally a briefing session to inform us the weightage of the alternative assessment.
Teachers also inform us of their expectations from our kids and answer some queries that parents have. -
I find the whole session beneficial but the session is too short. It will be better if organized on a saturday instead. I am glad that I got to speak to the form teacher and able to see the rest of the teachers that night. It is important to know if our kid could connect with them.
