Wanna know the lead time for withdrawal. 1mth? 2mth? Got difference if its year end?
U withdrawing your child? oh no you from which branch my dear -
Hi parents,
I’m intending to register my daughter to toddler class in Kinderland@MOE. Will be visiting for a school tour on Monday. I read thru this thread and find some not so good comments on this sch such as teacher and student ratio, boring sch, no field trips etc.
Any current student’s parents out there to share more? My daughter is born in the year 2012, probably PN1/2 class.
Thank you! -
Hi busymommyxu
My child is born in the same year and maybe your daughter will be in the same class as mine. 3 children from her class just quit recently. I am thinking of withdrawing her from school as well.
After I attended/observed the first 3 days of classes with my kid, it was below my expectation. But again, every parent and child is different. I prefer to have school trips and more activities for kids at this age. There is hardly any art work, not even a card for Mothers Day...:(
I have to buy some art work and work with my kid at home during weekends.
This is just my point of view. -
Hi Dorsetrex,
Thanks it your prompt reply!!!
Oh no. My daughter is currently in a kindergarten half day. She gets to play outdoor in the field and art works and there’s so many toys and books in her classroom. She loves going to school and due to some circumstances, I would need to transfer her to a full day care. I was deciding between mindchamps and learning vision around the same area too. Kinderland is just more convenient while the other two are further into biopolis.
Where are you intending to register your daughter in after withdrawing? -
Hi again,
that's good activities in the kindergarten. I will not want to say that Kinderland offers zero outdoor activities, but it is a rare sight.
The reason I didnt take my kid out of Kinderland sooner was cos she has gotten use to the routine. She was crying everyday when she started school for a week. Heartbreaks.....:(
Most importantly, your daughter needs to enjoy school and looking forward to the school's activities everyday as well as learning something new. Which Kindy is your child in? Is it possible to sign up for both AM and PM session like a childcare? Or arrange alternative help so that you daughter can still enjoy the same school and does not have to start all over again to get use to a new place. Having said that, children adapt very fast. -
Hi Dorsetrex,
My daughter is in Maris Stella Kindergarten now. She loves it there. Yea… I don’t know if it’s a good idea to change her learning environment now that she has opened up and really happy about going to school and all.
If u are looking at half days, I highly recommend Maris Stella Kindergarten. -

Hello! Anyone has any feedback regarding Kinderland Sengkang? I’m looking for a CC for my son next year.
I was there to visit the center on a weekend, pretty decent looking to me. But I’m pretty surprise that they have quite a few vacancies. -
Wondering what is the practise at other kinderland centre with regards to the following:
- birthdays, how big is the cake (kg)
- festivals (i.e. CNY request for parents to bring goodies)
Would like to hear your comments. -
Hi everyone, my daughter will be turning 3 next year. Thinking of sending her to Kinderland YCK.
Anyone has any update or review? How are the teachers there?
Thank you.
