Yes, they were popular in the past, i also wonder what happened. Maybe we will see drastic increase in take up rate in phase 2A (2)...

If I am not wrong, one of the forummers gave a very good review of the school. She was previously from Haig Girls. What beats feedback from a student there, right?

Let me try to retrieve the post and lead you to it.

Hi, i m moving to Geylang nx wk n i m registering my son to P1 this yr.

I m within 1km of Kong Hwa, within 2km of Maha Bodhi n Geylang Methodist n Tanjong Katong Primary.
As we r PR so we only have 1 balloting chance.
Here is my analysis of the chances to get in the school base on balloting history.

                1. Maha Bodhi - 0%
                2. Kong Hwa - 40%
                3. Geylang Methodist - 70%
                4. Tanjong Katong - 90%

I really hope to get into Kong Hwa as it’s very near my place but m thinking izit wise to take a risk as they always ballot within 1km n i only have 1 chance.

Geylang Methodist always ballot for 1-2km also, but chances maybe higher judging from the balloting history.

Tanjong Katong seldom have ballot for 1-2km, so this is a rather safe choice.

I m in a dilemma now, would appreciate some advice.
                Thank in advance.

Did you sign any Tenancy Agreement with your relative? Will your relative be using the address for P1 registration this year?

Hi qms, i did not sign any tenancy agreement with my relatives.

Izit necessary to have one if i m using the address to register?
No, their kids already grown up n they never use this address to register P1 in any year.
                      Thank you.

what you are doing is technically illegal. You're moving to geyland next week and registering in 2 weeks.
