We went to Queenstown Shopping centre and saw the Everlast bag for about S$35 & $44 after discount. Anyone has used this bag.

I haven't used before but I see a few people using it.

Only about 3-4. The rest (like 1 or 2) I carry in my arms because I donโ€™t like my bag being heavy otherwise cannot grow taller. Haha.[/quote]

Is that all the books that need to be brought to school? Any locker? What about files or folders? Are these needed or can they be left either at home or in school? My DD is severely underweight, and need to change 2 buses so am hoping no need to bring so much things.

        Thanks in advance.

Depends on which schools. But I think most schools the tables underneath will have this space for students to put their books. In my school don't really need to bring a lot of books cos its mostly papers given by teachers... Don't often use the heavy textbooks. The files for respective subjects usually don't need to bring to school, can leave at home except for once a term or semester when the school conducts file checking. At least, that's what happens in my school.

Thanks. Are the textbooks relevant? I stopped buying in p6 except for Chinese. I believe it is useful for some subjects.

Just bought a Dicota laptop backpack from Harvey Norman at special offer of $34. Quite solid feel with paddings on straps and back. Saw it on Today newspaper advertisement. Actually, a sticker at Harvey Norman listed the price at $49.90. But when I told them of the advertisement, they went to check and confirmed that is is $34.

Went to check Challenger at Funan and it cost $40 for members. Similar design but different colour and pattern on the fabric selling like $70 over bucks. So, seem quite worth it. Just hope it can accomodate the books when DS goes to Sec 1 in January.

We bought Dr Kong bag cost about $99. It is a Spine Pressure-Free bag. Dd has spine problem due to carrying a heavy bag during pri school days. So her Chiropractic doctor recommanded us to use this bag.

It is good to start using spine pressure-free bag earlier so as to prevent the growths of spines and cause scoliosis problem in future.
