Btw, any tips on sprucing up old boring potato salad?

      TIA :celebrate:
      What's your \"boring\" recipe?

Parboil cut up cubes, drizzle with oil, bake in a hot oven for 10 mins. Season mayo with salt, pepper, dried thyme and lemon juice/zest. Mix them together and also add in some steamed frozen mixed veg and some bacon bits.

That usually suffices for me. I like it with chipolata sausage (cubed) and chives; whereas it works for DH with some tuna and green apples (for crunch).

Do you let it sit or have this warm? DH's version is best served chilled whereas I've always liked warm sausage...sometimes I put it in chilled salad when done  mebbe that's why tummy not too good! :stupid:

Ah, the dishwasher...... DH cleans while I cook, he would love to hv one of this, but no space for it in our narrow kitchen. Mind you that I m not a messy cook, I clean as I go, he only need to wash plates, cutleries we use and the pot/pan that is holding the finished product.

We hv a furry girl too. She is top rank in our family, sometimes b4 me or DS in the heart of DH. I had to be approved by her b4 my in-laws. I loved her very much too, but DS is first in my heart.

aftermath of a party hosted for my wife's best friend. Didn't take the \"before\" pics as i didn't wanna be seen as a weirdo who takes photos of food LOL

BBQ chicken wings, bread with cream cheese, Butterhead lettuce salad drizzled with salad cream and onion and garlic bits, cheap red wine (of course must be cheap), chicken soup for wifey.

I do like to watch cooking shows.. Nigella is certainly one of them... Used to like to watch Jamie Oliver but find his prog not so interesting now when they still air them on cable

Nigella is real hot...i'm in the process of turning my wife into one. The cheesecake and tiramisu i made, she put on half a kilo LOL

my wife keeps complaining i'm a \"disaster\" and she'll have to shop for plus-size clothes at Marks and Spencer's, just like Nigella probably does hahahaha

PS nolah my wife doesn't support me, i work part-time at home. My pay is her's, her pay is also her's hehehe

Yeah... I like her desserts... Nigella obviously has a sweet tooth and she loves snackin' kekeke ... Wow 可δ»₯θΏ›εŽ¨ζˆΏθ΅°ε‡ΊεŽ…ε ‚ηš„η”·δΊΊ ! ... Errr I got it right I hope πŸ˜›
