My maid request to go back to agency
-
My maid told me she wants to go back to agency, after reprimanding her for the 2nd time this month. Imagine I scolded her twice today. Initially was thinking of keeping her until CNY over. But she told me she is ready to go back to agency.

Hi worried_mum08,
I hv been reading KSP forum but first time commenting…just to share with u, I decided to do without a maid after I went home during lunch time with my 2mths+ son having 2 black eyes!! That was more than 8 yrs ago!
We survived without a maid for 8 yrs till we moved house end last yr. My elder son is p3 & younger son is K2 next yr…still, we don’t leave our DS alone with the maid…
Unless u hv someone at home to look out as well, pls don’t keep your maid once they hv the intention to leave… -
I’ve learnt that it’s really no point persuading the maid to stay, once they indicate they want to go. If she wants to go, and her loan period still on, I will return her to agent. Otherwise, I will buy an air ticket for them to return home.
My last maid was young and immature. When she had some money, she said she wanted to go home. I persuaded her to complete her contract and gave her a rise to match the prevailing salary. Regretted it. She ended up giving me so many problems and later discovered that she had the audacity to pinch my child when I was present at home. I rarely ever leave the child alone with the maid. -
she repeatedly ignore my instructions and when I told her straight that I am not happy with her behaviours she will just stare at me with her 2 expressionless eyes. 3 months back when she started giving problem, I had wanted to send her off but pity her cos she was a transfer maid when I took her so decided to keep her until her loan is completed which is February. Who knows she dun amend and last night she almost spoil my new rice cooker, told her off and later in the night she told me she wants to go back to agency

Studious mummy:
My ex-Indonesian maid caned my then 8 months old baby on the leg, I discovered the cane marks and confronted her. She denied initially, but after I threaten to make a policy report, she confessed and asked for forgiveness. We forgave her, and it turned out that she was a very good maid for us. She worked with us for four years before she went home and now in Taiwan.Hi worried_mum08,

So sometimes, we have to give a chance to them, especially, new ones. To err is human, but to forgive is divine.
Nevertheless, I have since never left my babes alone with maids; when my kids are older, that wouldn't be problem, cos they will tell you everything. -
i grant her wish and sent her back in the afternoon after lunch today. she seem calm and packed her things within a few minutes. When asked by the agent what had happened, she din say a single word. I felt relieved sending her off. Fresh start for the new year and congrats my husband that he can do away with all my naggings about the maid from today onwards.
