You’re asking about a hybrid combination. Some schools don’t even offer the hybrid combi at all.

To add on, in VJC (one of the schools that offer the combi) , according to a senior, less than 10 students take the hybrid combi. It’s not a very popular choice because it doesn’t give you the same uni opportunities than if you do a proper science combi.

But most uni courses require H2 maths + H2( one science ) to enter. I m also aware that these 3 JCs have that combi as well

If you want to pursue courses like medicine then you should take a proper science combination. If those JCs have those combinations then you should probably ask the teachers there during the orientation. I’m sure they’ll provide better advice.

Students who have applied to junior colleges (JCs) and polytechnics will know where they have been posted to on Thursday.

The Ministry of Education will release the posting results from 8am.

Applicants can get the information online at the JAE (Joint Admissions Exercise)-Internet System and by SMS.

Those who have been posted to a JC or the Millennia Institute should report to the institutions at 7.30am on Friday.

Applicants who have been posted to the polytechnics or Institutes of Technical Education will be informed by mail on what they should do.

Does the student has to wear their previous school uniform? Can the parent come along?

Or only the student if going to the JC?

                    Need advise. Thank you

If I'm not wrong only JC/MI need to report in school uniform the next day. For poly I think it's dependent on which poly you are posted to, there will be further instructions I think.

Went to look at MOE website, "For candidates posted to Poly, an enrolment package with enrolment details will be sent to them by end February. For candidates posted to ITE, a posting letter will be sent to them within 3 working days upon the release of JAE posting results."
