Quintessential Mum:
Congrats!! You have done well! VJC is a bit tough but give it a shot. What is your next choice? Cheers
TJ science. Going for open house tmr.Skyed:
Ok thanks , gd luck going to VJC anyway . It's a great JC from what i have heard
Yeah it is, I went for the open house. Trying not to get my hopes up since the majority appealing will be 4points who couldn't make it... 5 pointers like me likely not accepted. -
1. VJC’s COP(sci) has been 4, not all 4 pointers can get in.
2. NJC’s COP(sci) has been 5, according to what I know, not all 5 pointers can get in. This year it may become 4 as the IP cohort size increases.
3. YOU CAN APPEAL before 31 jan, please contact the individual JC for details. For NJC, the appealing exercise is conducted before the posting is out. -
wahliew, can you people like please stop showing off your results? like seriously. Think about those who can’t even qualify for JC / poly.

For point 3, how is it possible to appeal before the posting results are released? Why is NJC so special? I think the appealing before posting results for JAE students apply to the IP students, who are already in the school and want to appeal to another stream. Is it? Thanks!1. Skyed,
Congrats, I think you did very well, just that you have high expectations.
Did you have tuition for Literature?
My daughter, who is sitting for O Levels this year, is looking for a Lit tutor.
Thanks -

No I didn't, I am EXTREMELY thankful to my fantastic lit teacher in sec school. Would not have been possible without her. Even when she just got discharged from hospital and can't come school, she had online webcam lessons with us.Skyed,

Yes a good teacher is very important. I had good teachers in my secondary school too, who fueled my interest in many aspects
