My daughter has been on spinecor plus follow up exercises with a Physio. I do not know how bad her curve is now cos she says she doesn’t want to know, plus by looking at her many people cannot tell she has scoliosis.

The Spinecor practitioner said if the patient is compliant she is confident the curve will get better.

Just a word of caution. All orthopaedics will suggest surgery.

My dd got 14 raw score. After deduction will be 10. She wants to go NYJC by choosing CLEP. Can anyone give any advice? She used to be a top student at school but messed up her o levels. Will the schools take the grade in secondary school into consideration? Can she get into NYJC? Please help!

Dear Workharder, at results collection yesterday, the teacher told the school that if their aggregate did not quite exactly meet the COP of last year, they should still apply for the school of their choice, but it should not be too far off.
So if your DD got 10, and COP last year was also 10, I think it is worth a try.
Never really know what the COP for this year will be.

How old is DD and is she on any brace yet?
I hv tried a few alternative treatments but really do not think they work so DD is on brace now. If DD has not reached puberty and already at 48 degrees then they will definitely advise surgery in Singapore.
I understand surgery is not common in Germany where they adopt the Schroth Method.
But it will be interesting to hear the what parents who have tried Kelvin Lau have to say. From my understanding diet is very important in controlling scoliosis.

I am interested to find out the pace of instruction inPLMGS Sec school.
I have spoken to many friends whose kids are in the top tier schools and many tell me lessons are very fast paced and many a times the student does not understand the lesson.

What is the system like in PLMGS?
How are the teachers ?

Thats very true. Almost all the teachers speak well in KC.

And their Chinese teachers are very committed too!

I think both schools are just as good. I will probably consider the ease of getting to and from school.
