Hey i just received my results today and i received 7A1s and 2B3s.. My nett score is 7 (English & CCA got B3 & i dont have HCL), so do you think i can appeal into NJC and get in..?

I don't think so sorry... NJC is already partial 5...

Aw man, but wouldnt they reserve places for students with no HMTL...? Oh then do you think I would have a chance of getting into ACJC Science?

I know for a fact hwa chong and RJ reserves spaces for those without HCL/3rd lang, but you need at least 7A1s to appeal.

hi!! i just got back my o lvl results!!! i got 13 raw and 2 bonus points!! Cathlic JC COP is 10 for science stream and im not even in any of the affilated skus. should i put Cjc as my 1st choice then appeal??

No harm in trying, but note that demand is quite high, and there are so many affilated schools for CJ, so demand is likely very high.

In other news, this newbie just got back his results:
A1 English
A1 e maths + a maths
A1 elective history + SS
A1 Geography
Dissappointing performance for my sciences though. A2 for all 3 of them.
Looking for options, though ACJC, VJ and NJ are the leaders right now. I could try for MLEP for HCI, but my Chinese is mediocre, at B3. SJI boy; strongly considering IB, but the program puts me off. Any advice? Or can I attempt to appeal for HCI arts stream? Otherwise, I am more inclined to enter the Science stream.

@skyed : not really cos the COP for IB is 5 . They will most probably go to ACJC . If u don't mind , could u tell what's yr subject combination n yr score for each of them ? My son takes emaths , amaths , chem ,phys ,geog core , history elective as well as eng n chi

English: A2
Chinese: B3
Emath: A1
Amath: A1
Chemistry: A2
Biology: A1
Physics: B3
Pure Literature: A1
Combined Humanities (SS/Geog): A1

You can consider those JC taking IB as an option. I think IB is good.
