Maybe this is the reason why women do not want to marry and give birth....

I am happy with the 2 days. Better than none. 😛 oh, from my understand, they are giving 2 days per kid up to maximum 6 days right?

So mean I have 2 kids below 12, I have 4 days per year right? 😛

My understanding is that they do not go by no. of children. It is capped at 2 days per parent per year. So even if you have 10 children, this will not become 20 days.

        - Parents of children aged between seven and 12 years old will be entitled to two days of childcare leave per parent, per year. Currently, only parents with kids aged below seven years old have paid childcare leave of 6 days per parent per year.

How will this apply to me? I have a 5 yo and an 8 yo? Do I get 8 days?

I was watching this Super Funny Taiwan Dating Show :

Our Government should get Mediacorp to make this kind of Dating show..

It could encourage more younger generations to get 'hitched'

Children need to be nurtured. One can’t possibly give birth and leave babies to grow on their own. Neither can couples pump air to make them grow faster. This is where the factor of time comes in.

How many couples have precious time to enjoy their kids? After working such long hours, many couples are mentally and physically exhausted to enjoy horse riding sessions with kids. They hardly see their kids after work as little darlings would be sound asleep.

Some work till 10 or 11 plus bcos his job nature requires it. It is a daily thing. Returning home, my brother has a a month old daughter who is sound asleep. Weekends are only days he gets to enjoy cuddling time and playing with her. Baby bonus, honestly is no push factor.
Try persuading him or my SIL to have #2, I doubt they will.

Aiyoh, those cash given by government, not enough to pay 12 months childcare fee.

Baby is cute, will parents still love them when he/she grows up into teenage years?
