I also make the mistake once when I saw the pan Pacific sg50 promotion. For a sec, I read and interpret hotel rooms for SGD50. Lol.

RE: All About Vacuum Cleaner
Seems to be a feature of most korean electrical products, ie breaks down after > 6 months. I am also keen to invest in a robotic vacuum cleaner but have yet to go and see any live demo.
Any recommendations will be much appreciated! -
RE: All About Life Without Maids
Hi everyone,
I will like to get a steam mop since we are now without helper.
Grateful and appreciative for any comments/reviews:
1) better than traditional/spin mop?
2) cost vs effectiveness?
3) any recommended brands?
Thanks very much for your time and feedback. -

RE: Any recommendations on family photo shoot at the studio?
I bought a groupon from baby studio and the service was great. There are a variety of settings to choose from and there are 2 girls to help with costume and make up where necessary and it’s included in the package. The helpers also play with my children to make them feel at ease for the shoots. Photo selection is immediate. Collection takes 3-4 weeks. Very satisfied.

RE: Travel: Taiwan - Taipei
Sorry I can’t help you with the beacon to Taichung station. I suspect you hv to cross the road n take the bus back to main station.

RE: Travel: Taiwan - Taipei
For Taichung, I recommend to stay at beacon hotel. If you travel by hsr, there is a free bus service from Taichung main train station to the Feng Jia Uni bus stop which is just round the corner to the hotel. The location of the hotel is good as the night market is just below. Feng jia night mkt is as good as shilin if not better cos you down browse in shops selling clothes, luggages or footwear.

I went to baby boss on a Thursday. It's still crowded. There were students from 3 different Kindy when I was there. Things got more bearable when the kiddos departed around 3pm. Else it was virtually impossible to try the popular occupations like medical profession, policemen, firefighters, pilot, stewardess...U went bb boss on weekday? Hows the crowd at 11am? Alot students?
Yup interested to know the driver's contact.. -

thanks mummy...what is the best time for baby boss? Entrance fee is 900 and 500 for kid n adult respectively.. is there half day entrance fee?
My itinerary in end Nov 2013 is different from yours. We did not do any farm stay. We stayed in Taizhong for a night. We stayed in Beacon Hotel in Feng Jia. It's walking distance to the Feng Jia night market. It's pretty dead in the morning and afternoon. The place only comes alive at night. From TaoYuan airport, we took the U bus to TaoYuan train station, bought tickets to the bullet train to Taizhong. Journey is 45 min. From Taizhong, we took the free bus shuttle to the hotel. The bus stop is just round the corner. If you are travelling with a 9 mth old, perhaps public transport is not recommended.
You can visit the baby boss website for more details. There's a free shuttle bus from the nearby MRT station. This is recommended instead of walking to the shopping mall. Do go early before the local kindergarten kids arrive.
We went to Shi Lin night market after a full day at BB boss.
Jiu Fen & Shi Fen can be done in a day. We also did the public transport way. There's nothing much in ShiFen except for the tian deng. We didn't see the waterfall as it is out of the way and I heard there is an entrance fee. You can catch some scenery in the ping xi line bus.
Jiu Fen is the highlight. At the train station, we take the local taxi instead of the public bus. Many shops for eating, shopping & browsing. Scenery from the hill is also nice. To go back. we also take the local taxi.
Hope this helps.
Yest googled and found happy times and garden stay inn at taichung.. any reviews? Will check out beacon hotel too.. thanks
We arrived pretty late. After 11am cos we didn't take the shuttle bus from MRT. I think they open at 10am. There is half day ticket but we opted for full day since we travel all the way there and so many occupations to experience. My gals enjoyed and wanted to go back again.
I don't have reviews for the 2 hotels in Taichung. Try beacon cos the family room is big and spacious, too bad we only stay for a night.
