Hi can anyone give me some feedback on the schools for PSLE score of only 194. We are staying in Tampines.

I am also unsure if I should let my boy enters a good school (St. Hilda) for Normal academic or an average school for express course ?

        1. St Hilda's Sec
        2. East Spring
        3. Junyuang
        4. Damai Sec
        5. Green view
        6. Tampines

Base on my personal experiences for my 2 boys, put your child for NA at a good school. He may be placed in a better NA class than in the last class of an express stream. JMHO

Agreed. Another gd sch to consider for NA stream is Dunman in Tampines. With your son's aggregrate, it should not be a problem as COP for last year was 187. Next you may want to cosider Pasir Ris or even Temasek.

Ngee Ann has only 1 NA class and they admit affiliated students (155 COP). Competition is definitely there for 194 scorer as the school has no non-affiliated admission at all in 2011 and COP for 2012 is 198.

I'm a Dunman Sec supporter. Heard they have good school discipline reputation.

My sister works in Temasek Polytechnic. She says that there are Temasek Sec and Ngee Ann NA students who are doing very well there. In fact at least 4 NA students from the Diploma in Legal Studies course who top the course are pursuing a NUS Law Degree.

                  - Ngee Ann Secondary,

                  - Temasek Secondary,

                  - Tanjong Katong Secondary (co-ed) ?

It's actually a better school than others in Tampines neighborhood if you get a chance to walk around the estate and observe the students' behavior in the public. Petty fights happen. Just look at another mission school like Hai Sing. The \"fight\" video went viral on the Net as well. Have friends and friends' kids graduated from St Hilda's Sec. They turned out fine 😄

Anyone knows Dunman Sec (Tampines) and Bedok South Sec ( near Tanah Merah)? Studies wise, I'm asking. Their students seem to behave well in the public 😉

COP 183. Geylang Methodist vs St Anthony’s Canossian. Which would you rank higher?
