Hi Autolycus, Is MGS offering IP from 2013, why MGS girls have to go ACSI in year 5 and 6? IS MGS IP is the same as ACSI (IB)? thanks a lot.

MGS' IP programme leads up to ACSI's IB programme in Year 5 & 6. So essentially the girls spend Year 1-4 in MGS, then on to ACSI in Year 5 & 6. They will graduate with an International Baccalaureate Diploma together with their ACSI IP cohorts.

🙂 took the words right out of my mouth!

      Just a couple of clarifications (yeah, I'm such a nit-picker!) ...

      1. The MGS integrated programme (IP) includes the ACSI IB Diploma Programme (IBDP). That is, all IPs are 6-year courses — MGS IP is MGS Years 1-4 plus ACSI Years 5-6.

      2. That means that technically they don't graduate -with- their ACSI IP cohorts, but they become part of the ACSI IP cohort in Years 5 and 6.
heheheh! Autolycus, you are a nitpicker but absolutely correct. 🙂

  Thanks for Both of you. But will MGS girls be marginalized to spend their four years IP, while ACSI boys are doing IB, finally merge into IB in year 5, 6. That is why I am asking whether IP =IB?

The ACSI IP boys do 4 years of ACSI IP from Year 1 to Year 4, then move on to 2 years of ACSI IBDP as the last two years of ACSI IP from Year 5 to Year 6.

The MGS IP girls do 4 years of MGS IP from Year 1 to Year 4, then move on to 2 years of ACSI IBDP as the last two years of MGS IP from Year 5 to Year 6.

I don't see why the MGS IP girls should be marginalised; they have their own programme for the first 4 years that incorporates many of the best features of ACSI IP plus some features unique to MGS. 🙂

They do Year 1-4 at MGS then Year 5-6 at ACSI campus, together with all the Year 5&6 ACSI boys.
