  Thanks for Both of you. But will MGS girls be marginalized to spend their four years IP, while ACSI boys are doing IB, finally merge into IB in year 5, 6. That is why I am asking whether IP =IB?
The ACSI IP boys do 4 years of ACSI IP from Year 1 to Year 4, then move on to 2 years of ACSI IBDP as the last two years of ACSI IP from Year 5 to Year 6.

I don't see why the MGS IP girls should be marginalised; they have their own programme for the first 4 years that incorporates many of the best features of ACSI IP plus some features unique to MGS.

Thanks. Will they move to ACSI campus too? or stay at MGS?

They do Year 1-4 at MGS then Year 5-6 at ACSI campus, together with all the Year 5&6 ACSI boys. -

MGS IP or ACSI IP, do they follow the GCE '0' level curriculum or follow the IB Middle Year curriculum in Yr1-4. Also, I understand there is a Sophia Blackmore programme in MGS. Will this be dovetailed into their IP programme?
One more, what is the cut off point to do the IBDP track. They they do multiple intake over the years like ACSI?
It's good now there is a place for girls to go do IB. In fact I was not in the loop and only found out about MGS doing IBDP for IP last week. -

hello Lynn,My dd is in MGS SBC program, she doesnt think that people are biased against non-Christians. Biasness or Discrimination is not one of Christian's teaching.
My hubby and I like MGS for its culture and well-rounded education. My dd qualifies for RGS but we discouraged her from choosing it due to my bad experience with the school during the DSA. Some parents may say we are stupid, but I think education is not all about scoring As, you need to balance, character building is important too. I'm not saying that RGS does not have character building programs (i'm not sure) but I have very bad experience during the DSA which forms my opinion about the culture there (I'm not sharing). I do not want my daughter to grow up in these sorts of environment and thinking that it is fine. (Btw, my daughter was from RGPS)
I just found out that MGS-IP is doing IBDP. It's kinda late. We didn't know so didn't DSA, what a waste. Never mind... Well you see, we were rather intoxicated by this GEP thing. So we were looking at only those 7 schools with SBGE.
We are willing to forgo offers from schools we DSA if we can find one that is student centred and holistic in student development. In fact, up till now, I still cannot find a school we like our kid to be in. Unlike other parents, we are not interested in a school just because it is the top but the school must fit my kid's learning profile and also be able to develop her in character.
I visited the MGS. I saw this bible verse on the wall at the school entrance from 1st Corinthians (I'm a free thinker). It talked about the importance of love. I told hubby, this is the 1st school I come across that teaches love, it's sound. I'm yet to know more and wish to know more about MGS. I hope you can PM me and tell me more about the school, both positive and negative. It's 6 years of dd's life and we want to do as much research in school hunting as possible to ensure she has a great learning journey.
