For a family of 3, what size is suitable?

      When is the sale?
I personally feel a 2.5 litre pot is sufficient, but then again, it really depends on individual's preference and usage. šŸ˜‰

Oh not me... You must thank 25hourmaid for sharing the lobang... Yes, there are several sizes in the market, but for the promo, they only have 2.5 litres and 5 litres and I bought both sizes. I only have a family of 3 and a maid, so I'm not sure what size will fit you.

Maybe 25hourmaid can share more with you, since she's the expert. She's been using it for a while, but decided to get the mini (cute) pot of 2.5 litres yesterday, for everyday use. šŸ˜‰ šŸ˜‰

Happy Mama, I don't care if you are going to have a \"bar loo ku\" on you forehead for CNY, but I have to give you this :heresmyfish: Since when am I an expert in Thermal Pots! :heresmyfish: again! Enjoy the fishes!

        šŸ¦† šŸ¦†

Oh, but you forgot to read the sentence after that... šŸ˜‰

So this thermal pot is excellent for soup plus a dish of steamed meat/veg?

Yooooooooo hooooooo, 25hourmaid, the thermal pot expert ... :imcool:

              Can pls advise šŸ˜‰ šŸ˜‰
              You another one! :heresmyfish:

Think for everyday use, the 2.5 is good enough. I just cooked sesame chicken with it for dinner this evening and the size is just nice for 1kg of chicken wings.

I have a bigger pot, a 6 litre Endo, but find that one too big for daily use, that's why decided on this cute cute pot lor! Very useful. Might do some tau suan over the weekend. šŸ˜‰

But the 6 litre is very good for pot luck parties when I need to keep my food warm. :celebrate:

I would say for that price of $19.99, it's a good bargain, hard to find another one at this price. When I was there at Giant @ Tampines yesterday, there were still quite a lot more, but didn't see the 5 litre one that Happy Mama bought at Giant @ Turf City though.

                Hi 25hourmaid,

What is the capacity of the ENDO thermal pot did you buy at $19.90?
                Thanks.

The $19.99 2.5 litre pot that I bought from Giant yesterday is not and Endo though it sure looks like one.

Hey I just bought green beans and red beans today. Can't wait to try it. I'm sure it will be yummy.

You didn't see this at Tampines Giant? I must be so lucky to have gotten a gem at Turf City.  but frankly speaking, the pot's a little too big. Used it to boil barley yesterday, it was ok.. but today, I asked my maid to boil herbal soup with it, and she filled 3/4 full with the herbs and the little amount of pork ribs... gosh, soup tasted like water! 😢 😢

I wonder if they have 3.5 or 4-litre pot. That would be perfect for soups. Otherwise, I will need to put the whole chicken or duck into pot to fill it to 3/4 for my family of 3. šŸ˜‰
