Hi, every parents!!!!
i am new citizen and i have been study in SG since secondary school.
i have no ideal how SG primary school like?
I have choices between Alexandra Primary and River Valley Primary.
But I choose Alexandra coz nearer and my parents recommand.
anyone can share with me how is Alexandra Primary?
Hopefully, not a wrong choice to Alexandra and thx in advance!

Since you now already a Citizen, suppose you are going for the Phase 2C of the P1 Registration, there is still chance if you are staying less than 1 km from either of these 2 schools. The balloting status in Year 2022 are as follow for your info.:

Alexandra Primary - Phase 2C in Year 2022 - Applied : 146, Vacancies : 113
Applied vs Vacancies = 129% - Balloting for SC less than 1 km

River Valley Primary - Phase 2C in Year 2022 - Applied : 91, Vacancies : 59
Applied vs Vacancies = 154% - Balloting for SC less than 1 km

or you may consider other primary schools which are not required any balloting in the Phase 2C so that you could 100% secure a place during Phase 2C of P1 Registration.

I’ve heard good things about ALPS too, my friend’s kids who were there did well. A few of the daughters went to crescent girls and the son went to nanhua high school. Disclaimer: I’m not a ALPS parent.

I am thinking of registering my kid into ALPS this year.
I heard in 2020 ALPS has good PSLE result, but no much information after principle has changed.
Parents with kiddos in ALPS, do you think ALPS is a good choice?
is RVPS or ALPS better?
