It's great to see a new school getting off to a great start by directly interacting and addressing concerns that parents may have with regards to the new school! Will there be an open house soon to show off West Spring's new facilities?West Spring Primary School:

West Spring Primary will be holding an informal chat session for parents with the Principal & Vice-Principal, tentatively on Sunday, 21 July 2013.The time and venue will be confirmed at a later date. Do drop by to meet up with the school leaders to learn more about the new primary school in Bukit Panjang. Please register your interest with Mdm Noor at 6284 4967, Mon –Fri, from 9am to 5pm. We look forward to having you and your child join us at West Spring Primary in 2014! -

Must be nice getting to go to a brand new school
The artist depiction looks fantastic with a roof-top soccer pitch! How would you stop those balls from flying off the roof :nailbite: ? But I imagine those staying in the nearby blocks will get to enjoy watching soccer matches for free :).
Are those solar panels I see on the other roofs? That'd be excellent in helping to cut down energy costs. -

Hence, there'll be a strong focus on environmental education integrated into our play-based curriculum. Pupils will as such be exposed to environmental education from a young age. There're solar panels as well in the school in helping to conserve energy in this big campus. It'll be used to educate pupils on energy conservation.
There are also many outdoor learning spaces for the children to learn in an engaging, meaningful & fun way. -

Thank you parents for your strong interest in West Spring Primary and registering for the chat session. We are indeed very encouraged by the very positive response to our chat session and would like to encourage even more parents to join us on that day. We like the idea raised by one of our forum participants, okea, that questions that parents have about West Spring be posted on this forum. In alignment with PERI initiatives, West Spring Primary School aims to be a single-session school committed to holistic education. To facilitate this, the school intends to start school around 7.40am. This will allow pupils to have adequate rest before they start school every day.\"
