Dear mylittleprincess,

Thank you for your interest in West Spring Primary. We thank our many supportive parents for your wonderful support at last year’s P1 registration exercise which resulted in us having to ballot at our very first P1 registration exercise 2014. We’ve been receiving queries with regards to an Open House. We’re happy to share with all our prospective parents that we’ll indeed be having an Open House. Please do refer to our school web-site at a much later date for details of the Open House.

We’re pleased to share with you that in about 2 to 3 months’ time, a beautiful playground will be set-up in the school for our West Springers to expend their energy & socialize with fellow West Springers through Play. :imcool:

The equipment is imported from the USA, hence the time needed to set up the playground. :please:

Cool! I like schools which are responsive and pro-active to queries. This is an open forum and they are willing to do it. Some established schools have the stand-offish attitude. To me, all schools are good schools if they have well-trained admin to handle the queries sufficiently…that is the first point of contact to make everyone feel that all schools represent MOE the same way.


If I am staying near this place, I will be willing to partner this school for my children.

Thank you West Spring PS for keeping us updated on new progress. May i know where will the playground be erected? Will there be teachers around to ensure safety of children when they are playing?

Dear Free2pop,

The school is currently being further enhanced to create more outdoor learning spaces in line with our Play curriculum. This whole process will certainly take quite a few months to complete. We’re hoping to have all enhancements completed by the time we organize our next Open House for the P1 Registration Exercise 2015.

Some of the up-coming enhancements include :

- Outdoor Experiential Learning area

- Lego area & room

- Chess garden

- Scented garden

- Outdoor library

- Fernery

- Desert plants


The astro turf soccer field on the 6th level is really beautiful as well. :rahrah:

We’ll try look into conducting another short tour of the school facilities for our current parents / guardians, once all works have been completed.

Please do be patient as we look into the enhancements. :please:

Dear Starkids,

The pupils will be educated on observing safety whilst at the playground located adjacent to the canteen which will be opened for use only during recess time where we’ve adult supervisors patrolling area.

I am really glad to enroll my daughter in this school. I think it is a good choice so far the school has really engage the parents just recently we have been invited to attend the CNY celebration concert. I think not a lot of school actually do this. Friends around me are envious bcos their child school don't invite them for the celebration. Great job West Spring Primary School. :thankyou:
