Hi, I am new here.. anyone knows how the classes at Sec 1 are allocated? My kid is clueless. He only knows 1/7 is Music class; and 1/9 is Sports class. Beyond that, he has absolutely no clue....
1-7 is not entirely music class, right? Out of 37 boys, only 19 are doing music elective. -

Read from DS’ timetable that there is a ACC lesson. He said the form teacher wasn’t very sure about it. Anyone knows? -

just curious, did you have chinese tuition for the past three years? How did the CL teachers prepare the students for o level chinese? what is your advice to your juniors?
also, is there any practice to wear traditional chinese clothings to school during the CNY celebration in school? -
llbros545: regarding NCC (air), yr 1, friday training, yr 2 fri + saturday training. what about yr 3 & 4?

Looking at ds cca form, looks like must choose 1st cca fr sports aesthetics or uniform. Then 2nd cca choose fr others eg robotic. -

CandyHeart: Thanks for the compliments! Chinese Os is considered by many in the school to be a very easy paper. Some of the stuff me and my friends did were memorising model phrases for compositions and learning the techniques to answering the various comprehension questions. Oh do not be shocked by your CL results in school as the standard of the school’s paper is way higher than the actual O CL. B4s for prelims can end up as A1s in Os for CL. Another tip is to read the compo question very carefully, don’t fall into any traps or you might risk writing out of point. Teachers prepare students with lots of work and CL intensive a week before the actual exams.
Oh and I had Chinese tuition in Sec 1 but not anymore afterwards because time did not permit.
Robotics cannot be a main CCA. It is a club CCA.
