This HCI really KS - so many tests to do, including interview. *faint*. Even NYGH, who used to do this has already \"upgraded\" and simplified their process to only the GAT.Hi everyone,
Details for HCI's dsa can be found on:-

Cheers :boogie: -
yup totally agreed. HCI should really consider upgrading/changing their ways for DSA selection!

That's why we didn't apply for HCI

Hi parents, I’m RSS. Just registered myself on this forum. Can’t believe it, i’m kiasu too! I have been following this forum on this topic closely as my DS is involved. He is from GEP too and had got SA1 results in the range of 79.6 to 79.9%. He is a platinum holder for SMOP. I called RI to check and they said no point to round up figures on the on-line application, they will take the raw total from the report book and DS still has to take GAT. Am waiting for email on GAT. heard some people received GAT email but i believe they are under the sports domain. Anyway DS also applied for ACSI and NUSH. Let me know if anyone received email on RI GAT. Thanks

I do not agree that ACSI do not belong to the same league as RI or HCI. Yes it has the lowest cut off point for S1 but that is for their o level track. Their IP track cut off point is much higher. They are also the world top 3 IB schools. 1/3 of the IB cohort got 40 points or higher qualifying them to ivy league uni and Top UK uni.

NUSH is a good school. I know of 2 pupils who got in through DSA last year and they are all enjoying the schooling experiences in NUS high, their PSLE results were all above 270. All of them have no regrets choosing NUS High over RI.Yeah good luck to every one.
Initially our main aim was for NUSH cos RI is really too far.
But just found out recently that with the new circle line completed in Nov, it takes only 8 stops from Clementi to Marymount and a bit of walking to reach RI. Should cut down travelling time by a lot.
Of course NUSH is still much nearer but the DSA process is much tougher too.
