I guess another factor to consider is on whether co ed or single sex school.

I have a friend who is so against co ed secondary schools.
Basically girls are trouble. That's exactly what she said. lol.

Looks like all GE boys applied for RI, 350 ge boys going for perhaps 50-100 places. RI total DSA vacancies=200, but there are 4 domains, so divided by 4 only 50 places?? Looks like more than half of the GE boys will be disappointed!

Out of these 225 vacancies, almost 80% for GE students and the balance split among sports and mainstream. Then again not all who chose ri as dsa has ri as first choice in their mind, so there is hope for all. Actually i don't understand all the frenzy over RI. There are other schools just as good. I consider HCI, NUSH AND ACSI on par with RI. All have their merits and uniqueness.

DS's classmate mom called RI yesterday, was told that GAT for gep domain will be in July as some GE schools released their results late. So this year is different from last year. Kids from mainstream will take their GAT in june.

So can start taking leave for 8, 13 or 15 July?

I think only those geppers who got their result late are affected...whereas others got the gat dates on 22/6 or 24/6.. :roll:

My son applied to the same 3 schools as yours. Initially he also wanted to apply to HCI but changed his mind after I told him to focus on those he is really keen on.
