CHS and SJI are listed together with SCGS and MGS in non-IP schools offering SBGE.

May I know where do you get the information from? I was checking out both SJI and MGS websites but they are not specific on their running the SBGE programme leh? Actually I am also not sure exactly what is the nature of the SBGE programme run by the 7 IP schools mentioned by MOE?

Well it is not difficult .Just that the personal statement of 300 words rule must be adhered to. DS wrote over 400 words and have to edit and edit online to restrain to the rule, bearing in mind there is kind of time-watch in place , in case get thrown out by taking too long time at editing it. A little challenging there only lah

you can draft it on your MS Word and edit all you want to not exceed 300 words; and after login to the DSA application system, then copy it in, no worry about being log out from the system. Not as bad as this ksp leh...kept being log out many times today

Yeah, that's what we did last time. I had my ds write his Personal Statement on Word Document and have it emailed to me for checking.

Since your ds already wrote 400words - help him edit lah. Poor thing. Afterall his original meaning is all there already.

So the question does exist: how GEPers get recruited into CHS, SJI, SCGS, MGS when they can’t get an offer in RI/HCI/NY/RGS and the DSA thingy is all over if they had not applied DSA to these schools? Via PSLE T-score ? and what if they don’t meet the COP? Do MOE post them to these schools?

DS has to complete almost the entire PSLE book (2006-2010) for 4 subjects during this school holiday and he is back in school this week for supp classes. SS project still outstanding and i dont think he can find time to do.

if the GEPpers could not or did not get in via DSA, and t-score not good enough.....then what to do ? it does happen every year...\"gifted\" status is not permanent. even for those on SBGE, it is up to sec 2 only.

just checked that there is no DSA via GE domain to these non-IP school. They only have sport and performance art.
