DSA 2011

ngbrdad:
If you feel more comfortable, just forward an email to the school <Email: > to confirm how payment is to be made. If you need to mail the cheque over 1st or if it can be paid on day of test. Procedures might be different from year to year. Finally DS submitted his DSA application for NJC with a 293 words personal statement.
There is some declaration to tick that must pay the $50 fees by cheque or else cannot take the test.
Read before here that can pay the fees on the day of the test itself right ? -

what did your ds write about in this personal statement? Does his current school teach him how to write personal statement? -
vlim:
It only refer to p6 first combine results which is ca1+sa1. My ds school work out the the percentage for the 4 subjects which are English, CL, Sci and Maths ( exclude HIgher mother tongue if any)
Hi vlim,
Do you mean they refer to P6 SA1 result only? How about those who got P5 overall > 80% but P6 SA1<80%? Or P5 overall <80% and P6 >80%?Zann:

But can't be so many GEP stu/quote]
dents with SA1 ave above 80 per year right ?
Apparently DS's school only one this year.
So from 9 centre at most maybe 50 ?
are you saying that for those who studies HCL, they'll be using CL result & not HCL result? But my DS did not sit for any CL SA1 this year. He is in P5 now. -
In p6 sa1, they will take both cl and hcl exams. And my ds told me abt it only 4 days prior to cl exam!!! Lucky he did quite good for it but not so good for hcl …
