      Zann:
      vlim:

For HCI geppers interview, they also no need to present the original certificates..

For RI interview, as stated in their email that student are requirement to bring a key project such as IR, etc or one of their outstanding assignment to present during the interview...
Nevertheless, they might change the criteria every year..so got to check again next yr ..Zann πŸ˜‰

😒 my ds IR \"die off \" so is SS portfolio useable ? They are mainly write-up. If not what else?

My son plans to bring his P6 SS Portfolio

You can bring any of his school work so long as it is substantial for the interviewer to be able to start a dialog with the candidates. Something your child is comfortable to talk in length, about his contribution to the work and the process he took to arrive at the final result.

Congrats NYmom, at least some news from NYGH. My DD's from GEP but yet to hear from NYGH regarding interview. So Kloggy, maybe we don't need to panic yet, hor...

For the interview, I suppose you can ask your DD to prepare a self introduction. Aslo, might be good to be in touch with current affairs and read up on general information about NYGH.

When DD went for her RGS interview, she was asked how many schools did she DSA for.

I think based on last year's interview, some girls were asked questions like -\tβ€œWould you rather be a screw driver or a hammer?”. No right/wrong answer, but rather to draw out your personality and creativity.

When is the interview? hopefully you can share after the interview.

          Kloggy:
          NJmom:

I am glad to have found this thread... many :rotflmao: parents to provide mutual support to one another.

My DD finally offered an interview by NYGHS. :dancing: :dancing: Anyone with good advice on NYGH interview? Will it be in Chinese?

          Many thanks in advance....

Congrats! Heard interview is in groups of 2-3 and ask general qns like why choose nygh type of general qns. Not stressful. This from a friend's daughter in last year's DSA.

Can I ask if your DD is a GEPper ? My DD is in GEP and until now still no news of interview πŸ˜“

they are not required to bring their original certificates. The photostated copies which we have submitted is good enough for the interviewers.

Oic...tks πŸ˜„ as for the project presentation, we have to bring all the related barang barang?

            ..

Then they'll ask him how did you bring this gigantic structure to the interview? Do you know how to take public transport to RI? Who helped you built that structure? :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao:

Actually apart from the first family tree project, I haven't seen DS done any projects involving 3D models. At least not at home.

Ohh....that will create an impression then. When the interviewers talk about the kids, they will remember the kid that comes in with the huge model!!!

My son and a classmate are scheduled half an hour apart for the Ri interview. If there are 3 students in each session and each person will get about 10 mins ? Don’t think they will have much time to talk about their individual projects.
