DSA 2011

ngbrdad:
The whole cohort for year 1(IP Programme) is about 180 students. ACSI will take in 90 via DSA. I guess there are about 2 SBGE clasess. Anyone can confirm?
How many SBGE classes are there per year in ACSI ?Nebbermind:
seemed to tally with what I was told. Think almost 100% of the 2009 cohort was offered but last yr many of them didn't even get WL.
How did they fill them up in the end since most pri GE boys would go to RI anc HCI ? -

Rarely see enquiries for band 2 and below sec schs? Looking forward to see some of these queries as top schs exceedingly over-represented here. No balance at all!
that is because for many, if the kids can't get into band 1 / top IP schools, they would naturally be in band 2 schools....so no need to chiong for their DSA if any.
also, most of the band 2 schools that participate in DSA are normally offering niche CCA only -

Perhaps some may feel awkward and decided not to post their enquiries especially if their kids are average to above average. They are probably put off by those queries on top schools. This is something not desirable if attention are overly focus on top schools might as well change this thread to \"dsa to top schools\".
if it naturally has less discussion on non-top schools, that is the way things are, no one is able to force it
you can start the discussion on it and let's see how it goes....
cheers ! -

Me more concern about kids expecting aroung 220-235 range with talents in sports/arts. Band 2-4 schs are more suitable for these kids.Edureach:
