      PiggyLalala:

Based on my son's class last year. For DSA to RI, all students with >80% got a CO from RI.
Did you get these information from school or your DS provided them? I find it really hard to bait such information from my DS, :frustrated: information such as who in the class apply to which DSA, who is >80%, etc, maybe he is really the bo chap type. Or maybe I have a real communication problem with him,

Thanks for e advice. So do u have any other advice for e kids?

Since the interview is conducted in group of 3, the child must be mentally prepared that the other 2 boys may be more chatty and more expressive than he is. Advise your child to stay calm and be himself. From what my son has shared with me last year, the interview was more like a casual talk unlike in HCI. They asked him how did he get to RI that day and how many times had he been to RI? GEP students with SA1 > 80% are highly likely to get a CO from RI. Not to worry too much and all the best to all :rahrah:

        Thank you for e advice.

Looks like HCI change this year cos to my DS, his interview there was like a chit chat session - similar to oral. Is it based on statistics when u mentioned that GE students w >80% likely to get CO so long as interview goes smoothly?[/quote]Just wonder has anyone, Students or Parents come across any GEPers who scored >80% for P6 SA1 did not get any CO from RI/RGS base on last 2 or 3 years result? For me, the answer is NO.

        Anyone can share or comment?

        Thank you

Maybe an ACSP or ACSJ kid who applied just as a back up but accidentally blurted out that his intention is going ACSI all the while and ACSI is better. LOL

Maybe I would ask how many ACS GEPers received CO from ASCI? To my understand, quite a number of ACS GEPers recevied CO from ASCI, but go to other IP schools instead.

Another questions, how many CO does ASCI offer to ACS(P) and ACS(J) students(include GEPers and mainstreamers)?

                  Thank you

Out of the 10 ACSP GEPers given CO from ACSI, how many actually go to ACSI?

I am surprised -- only 10 co given. In a way that's good cos they are not wasting their co on those who are going to end up in RI anyway.

They don't even take that many of their own.
No wonder some people are saying that it's easier to get into ACSI thru S1 compared to DSA.
I know of someone who got in thru track and field DSA and is now a star winger in the rugby team.
