Hi aunties, I am in P6 this year and applied for DSA under academic ( English). My English marks for SA1 was 86. Do you think I made the wrong selection because I heard that the selection test will be very difficult ?
Hi. I'm assuming that English is your strongest subject? In that case, you can't say you've made a mistake. Just try your best at DSA. Take it as a challenge. It is difficult to get a confirmed offer but you never know. Take it as an experience and continue to study for PSLE. Good luck! -

My DS said the math questions were similar to what they did for GE lessons.[/quote]Maybe your son's friend isn't as strong in Math or he made careless mistakes? It just means that NUSH isn't the right school for him and hopefully he gets CO to the other schools he applied for DSA at. -
My ds didn't take part in NUSHS dsa ... miss the excitment but 2 x stress is enough for me

Eng is my weakest sbj. My strongest are Sci & MT - 90+. Also strong in Math but very careless.I've just sat for the GAT in NYGH & RGS. GATs were easy but don't know whether there is mistake. I don't knw how to prepare for Eng test for RGS. :scared:

Have faith in yourself. There must be a reason why you chose to apply under English domain rather than Science or MT. I don't think you can do much prep for the English test.
From the looks of it, you're strong in all four subjects. Even if you don't get in via DSA, you should be able to do well in PSLE and hopefully secure a place through the S1 posting.
