My son was also interview by P. Whole process take about 40-45 mins. Did She has ask your DS and the rest of the 2 boys to study hard for PSLE at the end of the interview?
wow...what else did she asked? 40-45 min is darn long  ours took like 2o min only...
1) What books did you read? How you find the books? Why?
2) What game did you play. Computer game? Cards game?
3) What movie did you watch recently?
4) Did you read the newspaper? Which news interest you?
5) Did you watch the news on TV every day?English or Chinese?
6) Tell us about your project
The worst is at the end of the session, she said to the group, please work hard for your PSLE and you would come to RI....Seems like hinting something....
hope what she said has no significant bearings on anything..........
think It's some std parting words for All students ....
Be it those who get CO or Not .... -
Blur Dad:
Not sure if same statement was asked. DS did not say so but he felt after the interview that HCI is a more welcoming school. Each group had a senior to chit chat with whilst waiting and the atmosphere was more relaxed. In comparison he thought waiting at the hall was like waiting to see a doctor -- everyone was solemn and quiet.
I have the same feeling. Just hope that it is not true.matadorepy:
Imagine if you a member of panel and you tell the grp of student \" work hard for your PSLE and you would come to RI \" What is in your mind when you say that ? Is'nt that not obvious enough ?.
Any others parents or students have same experience during the interview sessions at RI? -

Agreed, the Junior block is like a greenhouse, warm as hell, and all the applicants were made to sit under the translucent roof.

I sort of agree to that.

Based on the GAT process, RI was definitely less friendly compared to NUSH and NJC.
The students are very friendly and helpful but the staff members can be a bit more helpful. -
ngbrdad:
That is because RI know they are always the preferred choice. Just the name \"Raffles\" is enough to attract the top of the top.

Bear in mind that this is the school your son will be studying in for 6 years, so greenhouse or not heβll have to get used to the environment.
Are the classrooms and halls in RI air-conditioned?
