any news from NYGH DAS (non-gep) apply?
-
OrangeJuice:
My DD applied for NYGH too :rahrah: and like urs, DD & DH prefer RGS whilst I am on NYGH...well both has their own strengths...
Hi cestmoi,
thanks for your very comforting message
my DD also tried NYGH but her dream school is RGS and she badly wants to study there. Yes yes let's keep our fingers crossed and hope our DDs get into the final interview
wishing our DDs good luck !
Just curious, I was reading some posts on the Science domain selection, wonder why the school used the same set of questions for different batch of girls taking the test on 2 different dates, would not that be unfair to the 1st batch as the questions may be leaked to the 2nd batch of girls who cld then find out answers to the secience questions asked ?
Precisely, on the topic of same questions given on diff test dates, I had that same unfair feelings too! The 2nd batch applicants cld then come well prepared with answers... :siao: Wonder why the sch wld do that? :scratchhead: -
NYGH & RGS which is better?

Mine is from mainstream.
DH likes NYGH, DD likes RGS, I like NYGH because of its rich Chinese values but I also like RGS because I am an \"old-girl\" and loved my secondary schooldays there. Like what you said, they are both wonderful schools and DD will be a very lucky girl if either or both schools were to accept her. Now I can only pray for the best. I am grateful for this webiste where mommies and daddies are magnimous enough to share so much info. and encouragement

My DD is from mainstream in a popular neighbourhood sch. Today is the start of her prelims orals & she seems to hv put the DSA thing behind her after the selection test on sat & went rattling on her orals preparations.. :rotflmao: -

Kids move on a lot quicker than adults. Here at the ksp forum the parents are still discussing about DSA and anxiously awaiting the next notification. :rotflmao: In fact I'm sure a lot of the kids when asked right after the test/interview what the questions were, would have responded \"Don't know\", \"Forgot already\". :rotflmao:
Yes I fully agreed! :lovesite:

My DD too has moved on, she refused to talk abt the DSA after the test ended at RGS. She too like your DD is now preparing for her prelim orals that is also starting this week.
well, whatever the outcome, all the best your DD and mine too
