Hi, my dd went for nyghs interview yesterday!! It was in a group of 3 interviewees to 2 interviewers. They asked basic qns like why nyghs, ur interests and ambitions. According to dd, they made her feel comfortable so she wasnt nervous at all. Mayb bcoz we were expecting one to one. And yes, according to previous yrs, nyghs offered co to ge and mainstreamerab4 wifout interview!!!

Hi NJmom, may I noe how long did the interview last? Did the 3 girls took turn to ans the qns according to their sitting arrangment like fm left to right or vv?....or whoever speaks up first will ans first?

HI pinky88, I cannot temember how long the interview last. I left her to wait and went to meet my friend at the canteen. Ha ha. I must have left her there to wait for her interview for a good 1 hour at least. That included waiting time of coz.
I don't think they took turns according to seating arrangement. It was whoever wished to speak first could do so. But for RGS, it was in order. That was more stressful for my DD.
Haiz, this wait for the results is agonizing! Good luck to those attending interview!

My DD is on 28 July Thursday 4pm. Try calling them back tmr to confirm. I'm sure we wldn't want any mix-up time or date. I hv pm u the direct nbr and person in charge, just in case u dun them

Hi Cestmoi, my DD interview is oso on 28 July but it's at 3.45 pm. Is urs oso at Level 4 boardroom? She has a classmate gg on the 27 July, I'll try to get her to find out more fm tis classmate if possible & share with u guys...

4 girls and 3 interviewers (2 CCA-in-charge teachers + vice principal).
abt 30min. the interview was cosy and relax. questions were simple and interesting, such as why NYGY, what other school do you apply for DSA, who is your idol, etc. some questions were in Chinese!
My DD was told the outcome is in mid-Aug.

Any interview news from RGS?

Thanks BlueBreeze for sharing! The RGS staff told me that by next week(1st week Aug) they will be notifying the shortlisted applicants for interviews which will then be held the week after (2nd week Aug).

Just curious but for mainstreamers who are good enough to be given CO w/o interview, wouldn't the offer be made before the other mainstreamers go for interview. Just the like the GEPers, offers are already made a week or 2 ago I believe...
