FYI, especially undergrad programmes in Havard, even among our top scholars, a handful made it there. Maybe yours could do it? A realistic chance is to pursue post-grad in Havard, it's relatively much easier.

My DD juz finished her NYGH interview an hr ago. 2 interviewers, 2 observer(1 is a ny student) vs 4 students. First, they were asked to introduce themselves, talk abt their family n their strengths. Then e next qn is in chinese, how do u think u can contribute to e sch…e session lasted abt 15 mins. The girls were told tat e result of e interview will b out by 13 Aug.


One of DD classmate rec’d a last min call fm ny asking her to go for interview 3 hrs later…i wonder why its so last min.

My ds applied using Grade 8 piano but have not received any news yet
He is keen to do MEP but there are not that co-ed/boy schools that offer MEP.
His grades are usually in the 70+ to 80+ range....
*Sigh*

NJC has MEP, altho' it is not listed as a MOE MEP center. But it's music elective follows that of MOE's syllabus so the students can take Music at A-levels. My ds1's grades were around that range too, altho' DSA in NJC is not by any domain.

Anybody whose child sat for NJC's GAT care to share? Heard the English paper was tough..... :frustrated: btw does anyone also know when notification will be out for the camp n interview? Hi hipomum, my DD went for the NJC HAST. Yes...she also commented that the reading comprehension was super tough...her exact words \"dun noe wat the passages r talking abt\"...the other 2 papers, Maths Reasoning & Abstract Reasoning was easy though. The Phase 2A Activity & Phase 2B interview will be tentatively held on 20th & 27 Aug respectively....so my guess is they will notify shortlisted candidates a week before 20th Aug....so tat's another 2 weeks of waiting..

Hm... A testing of not only patience but faith... Heard that there are like 700 students vying for 200 (??) places? Do you know how th school will send notification? By calling or send via email?
