DSA 2011
The truth is many students would only have one or two 'dream schools' but many times, they worry that they may not get into their 'dream school' and hence they would apply for other schools through DSA. However, the problem is DSA may not let these students secure a place in their 'dream school' and only for their less desired schools. Out of anxiety, they would just accept their fate and select for these less desired schools. Disappointingly, and not surprisingly, when these students receive their PSLE score sheet, many students find out that just based on their T-Scores they can actually apply and get in successfully to their 'dream schools'! Unfortunately, they had already opt for the less desired schools which they got in through DSA. There is hardly any chance of turning back now.
We have already three very informative posts on DSA. Here are the links

Thanks for the info. Do you know if ballet is included in International Dance? -
HI All!
Just wander that it really can’t change the school after accepting the school through DSA if one’s PSLE Tscore is gd enough to his/her desired school. Then, what is ‘appeal’ after PSLE results comes out?
Pls let me know.
Many thanks. -

if u were to read past posting, a few ksparents did mention that there are successful case of appealing to school b though they accept confirmed letter from school a...but procedure is kind of tedious..HI All!

Just need your opinion on if I had to choose one of the schools for DSA, which one should I choose. Both are IP schools and the COP for cedar after PSLE will be higher than last year since it is an IP school as well from this year. If distance is not an issue, how would you rate the two schools?

My earlier post was regarding choosing either NJC or cedar for DSA admissions
