ngbrdad:
Their initial plan was camp on 20/8, interview on 27/8, results early Sept.
haha - many schools only announce on the very last day, hor... hehe. NJC would probably be one of them. Including all those 2nd-tier schools.phankao:

they also replied me abt the same thing..haiz why they take so long to release the result.. :skeptical:
Now that the plan got disrupted, don't know whether there will be further delays.
Do they interview all candidates or only selected ones ?
Or maybe they can squeeze both camp and interview together in one day.[/quote]
Have any parents called up NJC to check when they will notify on the camp & interview? -
ngbrdad:
Let Your Kid Take A Good Rest ....Sigh now DS1 is sick caught the bug from DS2.
Luckily it's this week and not next week.
Probably will miss school tomorrow.
And U Take Care Too! -

The worst part is that for them, not all need to go for trials, only some need to go for interviews, and there's no status update given except for the standard replies. so no news could mean either \"very bad\", or \"very good\". LOL. Oh well.
Thanks for your quick response. Guess we have to wait another 3 weeks for the result. -

Yes, all schools will have to ensure that official letters of offer (CO/WL) or rejection have to be received by students by 2nd Sept or else you can complain. haha. (like you could be bothered, right?), but I guess, must have ISO, lah.

During my elder ds' time, NJC's CO letter came exactly on the very last day, on the 2nd mail-run of the day even! (I didn't even realise there were more than one mail-runs to our house until that day!). -
For me, I don't mind the standard of the language as long as the letter brings me good news - the coverted CO

I also think likewise jtoh..
I hope the standard of English in that email isn't reflective of the standard of English in HCI. :yikes:jtoh:

That's what I worry about too - for the kids to fall sick just before or worse, during exam days...
Take care and try to isolate the sick kid so that the bug would not be passed from one person to another, including the adults in the family.
