Dear fellow parents,

My DS have not received his letter from RI yet do you think something is amiss?
If he got into the waiting list for RI, but got offered by HCI, what do you think I should do? (My DS really,really,really,really,really wants to go to RI, but I don't know if should wait for PSLE first...)

If he's offered WL at RI and CO at HCI, put RI as his first choice and HCI as his 2nd choice. Best case scenario, he gets into RI. Worst case scenario, he gets into HCI.

If RI is your first choice and you are on WL, no harm putting it as first choice.
It will not affect your CO for HCI.

If RI is your first choice and you are on WL, no harm putting it as first choice.
It will not affect your CO for HCI.

We were at the nygh tea session too. The principal's words were such music to our ears. We now having celebratory lunch!

DD got WL from NYGH, at tea session with principal this morning. She gave assurance that all with WL will be given a place so long as we put it as first choice. Really think the NYGH culture is a considerate and gentle one that even for waitlist, the principal said she does not wish to add stress and anxiety to the parents ... :celebrate:

My dear niece went to class today and this is what she recounted. Class of 10 boys : 3 COs, 6WLs, 1 don't know yet. The high number of WLs is worrying.

That is a high number of WLs. I guess the COs and WLs are from RI and NUSH. Maybe with HCI's results the numbers might become more positive? What about the girls in the class? Better news for them?

Juz came bk fm NYGH tea receptn with gd news...Mdm Heng, the principal assured us that all those on the WL (66) will b given a place in the sch if we put them as our 1st choice...woo...we'r so overjoyed...no more waiting until neck long long :celebrate:
