Sigh… ds and friend just received rejection letter from RI (dated 11 aug). Mainstream Math and sports. All the best to those still waiting

AJAJ:
Has any one received an email from NJC for the Selection Phase 2: Day Activity & Interviews. Please let us know as I've received it.
Most of us received last Fri 12/8/11.
Email for the day activity and another email on the interview that was sent later after one respond to confirm attendance for the day activity.
They sent another email later on the interview
Got some problem with the interview emails as the date for the interview was put as 18/11/1999 or 1/11/1970 and NJC says they will resend another one. -

Sorry to hear that. Pls wish your son all the best for his PSLE and hopefully he'll enter RI that way with his head held high. -
This question may have already been answered somewhere but this tread is far too long for me to search for the answer. Can anyone enlighten me on the below :
If a child is accepted by a school via DSA but the actual PSLE result falls way below the COP of that school, will he still accepted by that school? -
ttlkbs:
Once a DSA CO is given, the child just has to achieve a PSLE score allowing him to study in Express stream. This is usually taken to be 200. (This is the case in most schools unless otherwise indicated in his letter of offer). This question may have already been answered somewhere but this tread is far too long for me to search for the answer. I heard that as long as the child's T-Score is no less than 200, he will be accepted by the school. This question may have already been answered somewhere but this tread is far too long for me to search for the answer. Can anyone enlighten me on the below :

After reading the thread, it seems like 80 is no longer the magic number for RI.... Am now thinking, if my DS were to score <80% next year, might advise him to forget abt RI DSA. Instead try ACI since we're staying in the west. I remember someone mentioned that ACI only takes in 90 students from GEP, am I right? How many GEP students are they in AC primary? Am just wondering since every boy wants to go RI, maybe will stand better chance in ACI & HCI. :scratchhead:

Just apply lah.
Ri's DSA is the one favouring GE among the schools.
ACSI requires everyone to take the HAST.
